Sky’s The Limit currently provides social skills to children who struggle in the area of making friends, starting and maintain conversations, and maintain lifelong friendships.
We currently serve individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, and other mild learning disabilities. At this time our program is not appropriate for children who are medically fragile, have significant cognitive delays, oppositional/defiant behaviors or a history of aggressive behaviors.
According to the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, social skills programs for young adults with autism provide lasting benefits that include steady growth in social connections, as well as, possible development for life long friendships.
Once individuals have transitioned out of their school setting opportunities for continued relationships lessen. It is important to continue to nurture and provide opportunities for friendship building through one’s lifetime.
